On the occasion of the International Astronautical Congress, organised by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), the IAF’s Industry Relations Committee is organising a plenary meeting dedicated to the impact of governments’ space policy changes on industry.
Indeed, regarding the role played by governmental programmes in space activity in financial terms and as drivers for technological innovation, the industry can frequently suffer from reorganizations decided by public bodies.
The objective of this plenary event is to enhance the awareness of space agencies to their degree of impact on industry resulting from their policy changes.
Led by its Chair, Mr Jean-Yves Le Gall (CEO of Arianespace), the Committee will gather the representatives of major agencies and industrial partners from the space-faring nations of Europe, Asia and the United States in order to address that issue.
