El Segundo, Calif. (April 1, 2014) – The Aerospace Corporation ranked number 40 in Chief Learning Officer magazine’s 2014 Learning Elite. Aerospace was awarded in the silver category. The ranked list of Learning Elite organizations were scored using a banding or category system that clarifies the maturity of training practices among the organizations. These categories include: gold, silver and bronze.
Chief Learning Officer magazine’s Learning Elite program honors organizations for learning and development. Aerospace was nominated for its workforce development activities performed by its corporate university, The Aerospace Institute. This year marks TAI’s 20th anniversary of delivering corporate training for technical and business education, and leadership development. The technical curriculum includes mission assurance, space systems architecting, acquisition, and technologies and engineering disciplines associated with space missions and systems.
