The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) today announced that The Aerospace Corporation has joined SIA as its newest Affiliate member. The Aerospace Corporation is a nonprofit corporation based in El Segundo, CA. The Company operates a federally funded research and development center and has over 3,600 employees. It provides technical guidance and advice on all aspects of space missions to military, civil, and commercial customers. SIA is a full-service trade association that represents commercial satellite companies as the unified voice of the U.S. satellite industry on policy, regulatory and legislative issues affecting the satellite business.
