NASA has awarded TASC, Inc. a five-year contract to provide highly specialized system software services. The cost-plus-award-fee contract has a potential value of $133.9 million. Under the contract, TASC and its partners will provide independent verification and validation, software assurance, research and development and technical quality monitoring.

To meet the program objectives, TASC has assembled an expert team of 15 partners: Azimuth, Inc.; GB Tech Inc.; J&P Technologies; KeyLogic Systems; Metters, Inc.; MEI; Mountain State Information Systems Inc.; MPL Corp.; New-Bold Enterprises, Inc.; Oakwood University; Science Applications International Corp.; Strategic Resolution Experts, Inc.; Syneren Technologies; West Virginia High Technology Consortium Foundation; and West Virginia University Research Corporation.

Since 2005, TASC has provided verification and validation software engineering for a variety of complex NASA projects such as instrument flight software, launch vehicles, navigation systems and ground system legacy integration. The work is performed primarily in Fairmont, WV and Houston, TX.
