Australian communications company Telstra announced plans March 22 to build and maintain three dedicated teleports to provide satellite gateway services in the Southern Hemisphere for OneWeb’s broadband constellation.
The service, called Eutelsat IoT First, precedes a low-Earth-orbit constellation of 25 smallsats and hosted payloads Eutelsat plans to begin launching next year.

International Launch Services said Sept. 24 that the Proton launch was postponed because of "an issue encountered during electrical testing."

Red Eléctrica said the credit line, formalized June 12, is available for five years with the possibility of extension to seven years.
The satellite industry has so far managed to avoid a high-profile cyber attack, something experts attribute both to the industry’s vigilance and how oblivious much of the world is to the magnitude of the services it provides.
