CLEVELAND –Two astronauts who flew on space shuttle Discovery during mission STS-128 will visit NASA’s Glenn Research Center on October 28 at 1:30 p.m.Shuttle pilot Kevin Ford and mission specialist Jose Hernandez will share highlights of their mission with Glenn employees. Their mission included delivery of the Fluids Integrated Rack, a high-tech science experiment facility designed, fabricated and tested at Glenn, to the International Space of Station. It will be used to perform fluid physics experiments to understand how fluids behave in microgravity conditions.This event will take place in the Development Engineering Building located on the north side of Brookpark Road across from the airport.
