The progress of the fourth expedition to the
International Space Station (ISS) will be discussed during a
Mission Status Briefing beginning at 2 p.m. EDT Friday, May
3, from NASA’s Johnson Space Center, Houston. The briefing

Mission officials will offer an update on activities aboard
the ISS by Expedition Four Commander Yury Onufrienko and
Flight Engineers Carl Walz and Dan Bursch, who soon will
enter the fifth month of their planned six-month mission on
the complex. They are due to return to Earth in mid-June
aboard Space Shuttle Endeavour following the STS-111 mission.

Onufrienko, Walz and Bursch are wrapping up joint activities
with a multinational “taxi” crew, which delivered a fresh
Soyuz return vehicle to the ISS on April 27.

Participants for Friday’s briefing include:

* Sally Davis, ISS Lead Increment Flight Director

* Susan Brand, Expedition Four Increment Manager

* John Uri, Expedition Four Increment Scientist
