What:
U.S. Sen. Kit Bond is hosting a five-city Missouri tour by NASA’s
Starship 2040 exhibit, highlighting Missouri’s role in America’s space
program and sharing NASA’s vision of commercial space flight as it might
exist 40 years from now.
When: The exhibit will visit Cape Girardeau Sept. 11-14. The public is
invited to tour the exhibit Sept. 12 and 13 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sept.
14 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
News media representatives are invited to a special exhibit preview Sept. 12
from 12-1 p.m. NASA officials and exhibit coordinators will be on hand to
talk about the “starship” and the technologies now in development by NASA
and its partners that will make such a vehicle possible in coming decades.
