Special Aerospace Services, a leader in aerospace systems engineering solutions, announced today that it will host a number of seasoned and sought-after spaceflight-focused speakers at its second Human Spaceflight Technical Forum on January 18-20, 2012.

The Forum will focus on the value of human spaceflight to the nation and its strategy going forward. As a result, speakers featured at the two-day Forum will include: Jeff Ashby, a former American naval aviator and astronaut and a veteran of three space shuttle missions; John Shannon, head of Strategic Planning for NASA; Robert Dickman, Executive Director of The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics; James Van Laak, Deputy Associate Administrator for Commercial Space Transportation at the FAA.

In addition, the Forum will host Andrew Chaikin as its keynote speaker at its Thursday evening dinner. Mr. Chaikin is a highly-regarded science journalist, space historian and the author of several
