House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) today released the following statement after the Space Shuttle Discovery landed and completed a successful mission.
“The American entrepreneurial spirit of innovation is alive and well. Our space program taps into that spirit to attract the best and brightest minds to explore the last frontier. I want to congratulate the members of this international team who overcame adversity to have a productive mission and a successful 13 day trip. This mission put NASA back in the construction business and returned them to the International Space Station.”
