Atlanta, September 7, 2012 – SpaceWorks Engineering, a division of SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. (SEI) announces the addition of Mr. Tyler Sartin to its staff. Mr. Sartin will be a Space Systems Engineer in the division’s Engineering Economics Group (EEG) in Atlanta, Georgia. At SpaceWorks, Mr. Sartin will assist with parametric cost estimating of advanced space systems for NASA, Department of Defense (DoD), and commercial and entrepreneurial customers in the aerospace sector. He will also provide technical analysis related to reliability prediction and ground operations modeling for future space launch systems.
Prior to joining SpaceWorks, Mr. Sartin worked with the DoD at Robins Air Force Base for three years. At Robins AFB, he focused on sustainment of ejection and fixed seats for the Human Performance and Protective Systems squadron. Mr. Sartin worked extensively with field units of fighter, bomber, and carrier aircraft including F-15, F-16, B-52, C-130, and C-5. During his time with the DoD, Mr. Sartin initiated a depot repair line for aged legacy aircraft seats. He also contributed to the design and acquisition of lap belt and restraint harnesses for multiple weapon systems.

Mr. Sartin received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, with honors, from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009.
