The Space Foundation announced today that SpaceVest, a private equity investment company, and the International Space Station Expedition 3 crew will both participate in an international dinner scheduled October 30 during the International Space Symposium. The International Space Symposium, which takes place October 29-31 at the Reagan Center in Washington, is presented by the Space Foundation in association with Space News and the American Astronautical Society. NASA is the Host National Space Agency.
SpaceVest will sponsor and host the International Space Symposium Dinner, titled “Bright Tomorrows – An Industry Poised for Greatness, on the Home Planet and Beyond.” SpaceVest Chairman John Higginbotham’s remarks on “Bullish on the Space Industry” will be followed by a video presentation with International Space Station Expedition 3 Commander Frank Culbertson and the crew on “The View from Low Earth Orbit” from on board the station.
The International Space Symposium is built around two and one half days of in-depth discussion, networking and deal-making by a select group of space industry leaders including CEO’s, heads of agencies, financiers, managers, underwriters, customers and regulators. To date, representatives from 30 nations have agreed to play a role on the agenda.
