Using NASA’s Chandra’s X-Ray Observatory, for the first
time astronomers have observed the X-ray jets from a black
hole over their entire lifetime, from initial explosion to
ultimate disappearance.
What this discovery means and the puzzles it presents will be
discussed during a Space Science Update at 1 p.m. Eastern,
Thursday, Oct. 3. The Update will be held in the James E.
Webb Auditorium at NASA Headquarters, 300 E St. SW,
Washington.
The panelists will be:
