Toulouse, France (August 5, 2002) – Holland and Hart, Attorneys at Law, is organizing a special pre-symposium seminar on “International Legal Issues Facing the Space Industry,” according to Space Foundation officials. “Holland and Hart is excited to present the workshop in cooperation with our client, the Space Foundation, on the timely and critical issues affecting the space industry,” said Rachel A. Yates, partner of Holland and Hart. “We are fortunate to have a number of industry and government experts presenting with us. It promises to be an informative and entertaining session,” added Yates.
Foundation officials said that although oriented to legal professionals, the timeliness of the seminar issues has widespread appeal and application for space industry executives.
Seminar topics include new rules and new developments in anti- corruption laws; analysis of how the Liability Convention defines your liability for damages and how you can avoid further risk; and space surveillance/shutter control in an expanding commercial market.
