All
panelists have confirmed for the signature “Town
Hall in Space” panel during the National Space
Symposium, according to Space Foundation
officials. The Space Foundation is hosting the
17th gathering of space leaders, which takes
place April 9-12, 2001 in Colorado Springs.

Dan Goldin, NASA Administrator; Gen. Ed
Eberhart, USAF, Commander in Chief,
NORAD/USSPACECOM, and Commander, AFSPACECOM;
Keith Hall, Director, NRO; and John Douglass,
President, Aerospace Industries Association will
provide top lead perspectives on all sectors of
the space industry. Lon Rains, editor of Space
News, will moderate.

The National Space Symposium brings together top
officials from government, NASA, NOAA, the
Department of Defense and military space
commands and agencies and features industry
executives in a wide ranging program of keynote
remarks, panel discussions and networking
opportunities.

Symposium keynote speakers include: Albert E.
Smith, Executive Vice President, Lockheed Martin
Space Systems; Jim Albaugh, President, Boeing
Space and Communications; Gen. Ed. Eberhart,
USAF, Commander in Chief, NORAD/USSPACECOM, and
Commander, AFSPACECOM; Armand Carlier, Chairman
& CEO, Astrium; and Dan Goldin, NASA
Administrator. Dr. Vance Coffman, Chairman &

featured speaker at the Space Technology Hall of
Fame Dinner.
