ProSpace, in conjunction with Space Frontier Foundation, announce the eighth in our series of Space Roundtables at the United States Senate. Titled “The ISS Costs Crisis: A Spectrum of Solutions”, this program will explore a range of ideas to help increase the capabilities of the International Space Station. The program will be held on Wednesday, September 26th on Capitol Hill.

The International Space Station program faces significant challenges due to spiraling construction costs. Current proposed solutions seriously hamper the capabilities of ISS and could detract from its long-term value. Conversely, covering the overruns would have a substantial impact on other NASA programs. The Roundtable will examine various proposals designed to help overcome the present challenges and get ISS back on track.

Senator Bill Nelson will serve as Sponsoring Chair of the program. Other participants will include:

Representative Dana Rohrabacher, (Chairman, Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee of the House Committee on Science)

  • The National Aeronautics and Space Administration
  • The European Space Agency
  • The National Research Council
  • Constellation Services International<
