Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) of McLean, Va., was awarded a contract worth as much as $10 million to provide requirements assessment and strategic planning for the newly created U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command, a Dec. 28, 2009, SAIC press release said.
Global Strike Command is a major command established in 2009 that recently assumed responsibility for the nation’s arsenal of intercontinental ballistic missiles.
