Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAI) today announced that it has been awarded a contract by NASA’s Glenn Research Center to provide environmental and safety support services to facility-wide operations.

The single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, time and materials contract has a three-year base period, one two-year option, and a total value of more than $46 million if all options are exercised.

SAIC will provide support services in the areas of environmental, chemical and waste management; environmental, chemical and safety compliance; industrial hygiene, environmental engineering, and construction safety. Work will be performed at Glenn Research Center and its Plum Brook Station in Cleveland and Sandusky, Ohio, respectively.
