WASHINGTON, DC – House Science Committee Chairman Sherwood Boehlert (R-NY)
today announced the appointment of committee and subcommittee vice chairs.
They are as follows:
Full Committee – Rep. Gil Gutknecht (R-MN)
Energy Subcommittee – Rep. Melissa A. Hart (R-PA)
Environment Subcommittee – Rep. Felix J. Grucci (R-NY)
Research Subcommittee – Rep. Timothy V. Johnson (R-IL)
Space Subcommittee – Rep. Dave Weldon (R-FL)
Boehlert said he is looking forward to an active two years. “We have a very
able team on both sides of the aisle and I expect the 107th Congress to be
very productive for the Science Committee,” he said. “I am particularly
impressed with the abilities reflected in our vice chairs.”
