Raytheon Co., of Waltham, Mass., has been selected to serve as the network integrator for a U.S. Army communications experiment in early 2010, according to an Oct. 19 Raytheon press release.

 Benning, Ga., will participate in 14 missions as part of the Army Expeditionary Warrior Experiment. The experiment will seek to integrate communications technologies from more than 20 companies and government agencies into a single network backbone.
