His mission will involve
implementing and expediting operation of new management tools at CNES and
reinforcing the agencyís control processes.

Philippe Braidy graduated
from Franceís Ecole Polytechnique engineering school in 1979, after which
he pursued his engineering studies, specializing in highway and bridge
engineering at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et ChaussÈes. In 1993 he
joined the office of the Budget Minister, where he was in charge of planning
industry and research budgets, before being appointed budget advisor at the
Prime Ministerís office in 1995. In November 1995 he took up the post of
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the French atomic energy agency CEA and the
CEA-Industrie group. Since September 2001, he has combined the posts of CFO
at CEA and supervisory board member of AREVA.
