Extension of Multi-Year Contract for Five Transponders on Galaxy IIIC Establishes SPACECONNECTION as a Premier Customer on Latest Spacecraft

PanAmSat Corporation today announced that it has
extended its long-term partnership with The SPACECONNECTION Inc., on
its newest generation of Galaxy satellites.

Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, SPACECONNECTION will
occupy five transponders on the C-band portion of PanAmSat’s most
recently launched spacecraft, Galaxy IIIC. Operating at the prime
orbital location of 95 degrees west longitude, Galaxy IIIC will enable
SPACECONNECTION to deliver enhanced digital video and broadband
distribution services to customers across North America.

“SPACECONNECTION’s long-term commitment to PanAmSat underscores
the partnership that we have developed over the years to deliver
transmission services for both domestic and international business,”
said Joe Wright, PanAmSat’s president and chief executive officer.
“Our relationship dates back to the mid-1980s and we look forward to
its continued development well into the 21st century.”

By leveraging the power of the Galaxy IIIC satellite,
SPACECONNECTION will be able to provide expanded services over a more
extensive coverage area. Recently, Galaxy IIIC completed extensive
in-orbit testing and a flawless transition, entering into full service
for all customers on October 29th. The satellite carries a payload of
24 C-band and 52 Ku-band transponders that support PanAmSat’s video,
VSAT, Direct-To-Home and broadcast services customers, including
SPACECONNECTION, across the United States, Latin America and the
Caribbean.

“This multi-year extension for five transponders on PanAmSat’s
newest, high-powered satellite, Galaxy IIIC, ensures SPACECONNECTION’s
ability to continue its leadership role in providing the highest
quality, dependable and reliable service,” said Robert M. Patterson,
president & CEO of SPACECONNECTION. “Furthermore, it is with sincere
appreciation and acknowledgement that none of this could happen
without the loyal and faithful customers of SPACECONNECTION and for
that, I am forever thankful.”
