CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — The National Space Club Florida Committee is hosting an appreciation and farewell dinner for outgoing
Kennedy Space Center Director Roy Bridges, who in August will take over as the director of NASA’s historic Langley Research Center
in Hampton, Va.
The event will be held this Friday, July 11, at the Debus Conference Center, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Dinner begins at
7 p.m. EDT with a program to follow about 8:15 p.m. Invited speakers from the space community will make some brief remarks, as will
Mr. Bridges.
