THE HAGUE, The Netherlands, – New Skies Satellites N.V.
(AEX, NYSE: NSK), the global satellite communications company, has named
Nigel Gibson as the company’s new vice president of European sales.
Joining New Skies from GlobeCast Northern Europe, Gibson brings more than 10
years of sales experience to the position. He is responsible for the sale of
New Skies satellite capacity to broadcast, telecom and Internet customers
throughout Europe. Based at New Skies’ headquarters in The Hague, the
Netherlands, Gibson also will manage the company’s regional sales team.

working with the broadcast and Internet industries at GlobeCast and BskyB,”

As vice president of European sales at GlobeCast, Gibson managed the company
‘s largest commercial department, delivering full-time satellite services to
broadcast and Internet customers. Prior to GlobeCast, Gibson was marketing
manager for British Sky Broadcasting Group Plc., where he was instrumental
in developing and implementing the retail launch of Sky Digital.
