NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building Refurbishment Event Now Friday

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — The photo and interview opportunity to view the Vehicle Assembly Building modifications has been moved to Friday, Oct. 5, at 9 a.m. EDT at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Fla. Media should arrive at Kennedy’s Press Site by 8:30 a.m. for transportation to the VAB.

Journalists will have an opportunity to photograph platforms being removed from the high bay and interview NASA officials knowledgeable about the modifications.

Media accreditation for this event is closed. Badges for Sunday’s SpaceX launch will be honored for the event and can be picked up at the Press Accreditation Office on State Road 3.
