On Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, representatives from the State of Maryland and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center will sign an agreement to pave the way in attracting high tech companies to Maryland that will be key in enabling both future missions of NASA and the economic future of Maryland.
Participants in the signing event will include Senator Barbara Mikulski, Governor Martin O’Malley and Goddard Center Director Chris Scolese. The event will take place at the Goddard visitor center and will begin at 12:30 p.m. EST.
Invitees to the event include Kevin F. Kelly, chairman of the Federal Facilities Advisory Board, Dr. Antonio Busallachi, Director, Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center, University of Maryland College Park and Anoop Mehta, President of the Maryland Space Business Roundtable.

Goddard’s visitor center is located at approximately 8800 Greenbelt Road in Greenbelt, MD 20771. The visitor center is located off ICESat Road (formerly Soil Conservation Road). Once on ICESat Road, turn left into the visitor center prior to the security checkpoint.
