The first spacewalk for the International Space Station
Expedition 9 crew is being rescheduled to no earlier than
Friday, June 25. A briefing to preview the spacewalk that was
set for today has been postponed until tomorrow. It’s now
scheduled for 4 p.m. EDT Tuesday, June 22.

Station managers reviewed all spacewalk preparations today in
a Stage Operations Readiness Review and found no technical or
operational concerns. However, Russian space officials asked
for additional time to discuss programmatic topics.

The Tuesday briefing from NASA’s Johnson Space Center,
Houston, will be broadcast live on NASA Television. Reporters
at participating NASA centers will be able to ask questions.

NASA Television is available on AMC-9, transponder 9C, C-
Band, at 85 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0
MHz. Polarization is vertical. Audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz.
