NASA has selected 8(a) firm Applied Sciences & Information Systems, Inc. of Virginia Beach, Virginia, for services to support NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.
This procurement was competed as a Small Business 8(a) set-aside. The Cost-Plus Fixed-Fee contract has a core base period from Feb. 1, 2016, through Sept. 30, 2017, ($3,233,533); Option Period One is from Oct. 1, 2017, through Sept. 30, 2019, ($3,941,396); and Option Period Two is from Oct. 1, 2019, through January 30, 2021, ($2,692,865). The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity portion of the contract has a maximum value of $3.4 million. The total estimated value of the contract including options is $9,867,794..
The total period of performance is five years and individual task orders may extend for up to one year past the expiration of the ordering period.
This contract will provide support for Goddard’s environmental management services to include waste prevention and management, environmental planning and impact assessment, and the management of water, air, environmental program, environment liability and natural resources. The work will be performed at Goddard.
