CLEVELAND — NASA’s Glenn Research Center has selected Mainthia Technologies, Inc. (MTI), Cleveland, for a cost-plus-incentive-fee contract valued at $27 million to provide implementation, maintenance and operation of the central process systems.

MTI will provide specialized services to ensure that the central process systems and its collateral equipment housed in various buildings at Glenn and the Plum Brook Station in Sandusky, Ohio, continue to provide conditioned air and exhaust capabilities in a safe, reliable and timely manner with minimum disruptions to the center operations.

MTI will perform all aspects of equipment operations, including but not limited to, pre-run check-outs, configuring the required equipment, routing the necessary valves, issuing and removing permissive, starting, controlling, monitoring end-to-end and securing the central process systems.

The contract begins on October 1, 2009, with a two-year base period followed by three one-year options.
