On November 18, 2002, Terry C. Miller was sentenced by United States
District Court Judge Anne C. Conway, in the Middle District of Florida,
to one year of probation, a $1,000 fine, and a $100 special assessment.
Miller pled guilty on August 27, 2002, to one count of Theft of U.S.
Government Property valued at approximately $3,500. Miller was
employed by United Space Alliance, NASA’s space flight operations
contractor at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, as the manager of the
Ground Support Equipment shop.
Miller stole miscellaneous tools, equipment, and material from the
Ground Support Equipment shop. The items were later recovered from his
home and his wife’s private business.
Special Agents from the NASA Inspector General’s Office of
Investigations conducted the investigation with assistance from the
United Space Alliance Security Office. Assistant United States
Attorney Pamela Cothran, Middle District of Florida, Tampa, Florida,
handled the prosecution.
