RELEASE 2003-029: FORMER NASA CONTRACTOR EMPLOYEE CHARGED FOR THEFT OF
GOVERNMENT PROPERTY

On March 19, 2003, James E. Anderson, a former NASA contractor
employee, was charged, in a Criminal Information filed by the United
States Attorney, Southern District of Mississippi, with theft of
Government property. Anderson allegedly stole NASA industrial
supplies, construction materials, tools and equipment from the John C.
Stennis Space Center, in Mississippi.

Special Agents from the NASA Office of Inspector General and the
Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the investigation. Assistant
United States Attorney Jay Golden, Southern District of Mississippi,
Biloxi, Mississippi, is handling the prosecution.
