CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Bob Cabana, center director for NASA Kennedy Space Center, Fla., will hold an informal briefing with media at 3:30 p.m. EDT on Thursday, April 8, at the center’s Press Site. Cabana’s briefing will not be carried on NASA Television.
Cabana will discuss the latest activities at Kennedy, including the center’s next steps in implementing the new exploration strategy outlined in the 2011 fiscal year budget proposal. Cabana’s media event will follow a media teleconference at 2 p.m. with NASA Administrator Charles Bolden and Deputy Administrator Lori Garver.
STS-131 mission media credentials will be honored for the Cabana briefing. U.S. journalists without Kennedy media credentials need to apply online by 12 p.m. on April 8 at: https://media.ksc.nasa.gov
No new credentials for international media will be issued for this briefing.
