CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — Media are invited to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on Monday, April 7, to talk with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels about their involvement in the second annual Space & Air Show at Kennedy Space Center.

Pilots Lt. Frank Weisser, Blue Angel #7, and Lt. Dan McShane, Blue Angel #8, will be available at Kennedy’s Shuttle Landing Facility for brief one-on-one interviews at 2:30 p.m. EDT. Media also will be able to view the Blue Angels’ F-18 Hornet aircraft up close.

The Space & Air Show at Kennedy Space Center will be held November 8 and 9, and feature a performance by the Blue Angels.

Permanently badged media interested in attending Monday’s event should contact the Kennedy News Center at 321-867-2468 by noon on April 7 to RSVP. Reporters need to arrive at the News Center by 1:30 p.m. for transportation to the space shuttle runway.

Media without NASA Kennedy credentials need to contact Andrea Farmer at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex at 321-449-4318. Reporters need to arrive at the visitor complex by 1:30 p.m. for transportation to Kennedy’s News Center.

Media must be properly dressed in long pants and closed shoes with low heels. Sleeveless shirts are not allowed.
