NASA Awards Ohio Firm Contract for Liquid Nitrogen

NASA has awarded a contract to Linde Gas, LLC, of Independence, Ohio, to provide liquid nitrogen to the Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Md.

The fixed-price, requirements-type contract is valued at approximately $5.4 million. The base period of performance is from January 2006 through December, 2008, with options through 2010.

This contract will support the Vision for Space Exploration, NASA’s long- term plan to return astronauts to the moon and extend exploration to Mars and beyond.
