NASA’s Glenn Research Center, Cleveland, has selected
Call Henry, Inc., a small business in Cocoa, Fla., for a
contract to provide maintenance, repair, operation and
modification services for several systems and facilities at
the center. The contract begins on June 2, 2003, and it is a
follow-on contract to an existing agreement for similar
services.

This is a firm-fixed price contract plus indefinite
delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with an “award
term” incentive to earn additional contract years for
“excellent” performance. The annual firm-fixed prices average
about $6.3 million plus an estimated $2.5 million annually
for delivery orders. Over the maximum 10-year contract
period, the firm-fixed price is $66.9 and its estimated IDIQ
value is $27.3 million, for a total of $94.2 million.

Services under this contract include scheduled preventative
maintenance, predictive testing and inspection of
institutional systems, including heating, ventilation and air
conditioning, utility distribution (high and low-voltage
electricity and natural gas), water and sewer piping, the
operation of steam plant and boilers, cooling towers and
chillers, and high voltage switching, and building, roads,
and grounds maintenance.

Call Henry, Inc., will be subcontracting at least 15 percent
to JDD, Inc., a small, disadvantaged business in Cleveland.
