NASA has awarded the Flight Dynamics Support Services (FDSS) II contract to Omitron, Inc. of Beltsville, Maryland.
The small business set-aside, cost-plus-fixed fee, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a minimum ordering value of $3 million and a maximum ordering value of $180 million. There is a 45-day phase-in, scheduled to commence on Sept. 15. The ordering period is for five years, which will begin Nov. 1.
This contract will provide for the planning, designing, implementation, enhancement, evaluation, integration, testing and conducting of the flight dynamics services and systems at the agency’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland for the Navigation and Mission Design Branch. Additional contract services will support the Attitude Control Systems Engineering Branch within the Mission Engineering and Systems Analysis Division at Goddard.
Contractual work will be performed at Goddard and the contractor’s facility.
