WASHINGTON — NASA has extended the agency’s Marshall Space Flight Center operations support services contract with EG&G Technical Services of Austin, Texas.

The contract extension, valued at $40.6 million covers the period of July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011. The potential value of this contract, if all options are exercised and maximum indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity value is ordered, is approximately $196 million.

EG&G will continue to perform facilities operations and maintenance services at all Marshall facilities.
