NASA has awarded the Spectrum and Resource Management, Engineering and Programmatic Support Services (SpectRE) contract to Agile Decision Sciences LLC of Beltsville, Maryland.
The maximum ordering value of this indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is $74.8 million. The period of performance runs from April 1, 2021, through March 31, 2026. The work under this contract will be performed at NASA Headquarters and at the contractor’s facility.
Agile will provide domestic and international spectrum management and regulatory services, space communication and navigation engineering services, programmatic management accounting tools services, web presences and applications, and education and public outreach activities for NASA’s Human Exploration and Operations (HEO) Mission Directorate.
The contractor also will provide professional, expert support in the disciplines of regulation management, engineering, budget formulation and execution, public engagement and general program, and mission directorate support for NASA’s Space Communication and Navigation (SCaN) division within the HEO Mission Directorate at the agency’s Headquarters.
The SCaN division serves as the program office, providing management and direction for the agency’s space communication and navigation capabilities and activities. This includes management and operation of the ground-based facilities for NASA’s three space communication networks: the Deep Space Network, the Near Earth Network, and the Space Network (SN), as well as the space-based segment of the SN, the Tracking and Data Relay Satellites.
