NASA has awarded a contract to DynCorp Technical Services
LLC, a Computer Sciences Corporation Company, of Fort Worth,
Texas to provide maintenance and modification services for part
of NASA’s aircraft fleet.
The Aircraft Maintenance and Modification Program Services
contract includes support for NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC)
operations at Ellington Field in Houston and at facilities in
El Paso, Texas; Edwards Air Force Base, Calif.; Dryden Flight
Research Center (DFRC), Edwards, Calif.; Langley Research
Center (LaRC), Hampton, Va.; and other remote sites, domestic
and foreign, where services are required.
The contract is a follow-on to existing services at JSC, DFRC,
and LaRC. This five-year level-of-effort, cost-plus-award-fee
contract begins March 1, 2004. The estimated contract value,
including maximum award fee, is approximately $200 million.
Major subcontractors include Qualified Technical Services,
Inc., Muniz Engineering, Inc., Avpol International, and
Lockheed Martin Space Operations.
