NASA has awarded work valued at $25 million involving
telecommunications support services to Lockheed Martin Space
Operations, Houston, as an addition to the broader
Consolidated Space Operations Contract (CSOC) currently held
by Lockheed.

The work provides additional support requirements for the
NASA Integrated Service Network, including tasks such as
procurement, installation, operation and maintenance of
telecommunications services. Those services include video
teleconferencing systems, voice teleconferencing systems and
facsimile installations.

The work is planned through Dec. 31, 2003, and will be
performed primarily at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center,
Huntsville, Ala. The additional work brings the total value
of the CSOC to $2.1 billion.
