NASA’s Space Shuttle Program managers will provide the status of preparations for the Shuttle’s Return to Flight mission (STS-114) during a telephone news conference at 4 p.m. EDT Friday, May 20, from Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Fla.
The teleconference follows Friday’s planned fueling of Shuttle Discovery’s fuel tank (External Tank-120) at the launch pad. The exact time of the teleconference is dependent on weather and real-time tanking operations.
