The NASA Shared Services Center is hosting a ground breaking ceremony at 10:30 a.m. CST, Friday, Feb. 24 on the grounds of the Stennis Space Center, Miss.

NASA Administrator Michael Griffin, Sen. Trent Lott, Miss. Gov. Haley Barbour, Shared Services Center Executive Director Richard Arbuthnot and Computer Sciences Corp. president Michael Laphen will participate in the ceremony.
The NASA Shared Services Center will provide agency centralized administrative processing, human resources, procurement and financial services. Computer Sciences Corporation was awarded the services provider contract. The center eventually will employ approximately 500 contractors and civil servants.
