CLEVELAND — NASA Administrator Charles Bolden will visit the agency’s Glenn Research Center on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012.

At 2:15 p.m. the administrator will be in the Propulsion Systems Laboratory where there will be a short presentation highlighting the High Ice Water Content Flight Campaign which will characterize the atmospheric environment that can cause engine icing in aircraft around specific types of storms. The flight campaign works with national and international partners to characterize the weather that can lead to engine icing anomalies.

Reporters are invited to be present to listen to the briefing after which Bolden will be available to answer questions, including questions about the Fiscal Year 2013 budget.

Please contact Sally Harrington at 216-433-2037 or the media relations office at 216-433-2901 by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb.17 to be cleared through security. Upon arrival at Glenn, reporters must go into the office at the main gate to be badged.
