CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – June 3, 2003 – Kennedy Space Center Director Roy Bridges will speak before the members of the National Space Club Florida Committee during the group’s monthly luncheon meeting in June.

Bridges, a veteran NASA astronaut and KSC’s top manager since 1997, is expected to update the club on current activities at the
space center, including those surrounding the aftermath of the Feb. 1 loss of shuttle Columbia.

The luncheon is set for Tuesday, June 10 at the Doubletree Oceanfront on A1A in Cocoa Beach.

Members will begin gathering at 11:30 a.m. EDT. Lunch will be served at noon and Bridges is expected to begin speaking by 12:30 p.m.
The event concludes at 1 p.m. EDT.

Lunch is available at a cost of $15 for members and $18 for non-members. A one-year membership in the National Space Club Florida
