What & Who: On Aug. 5, more than 140 interns at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, will participate in a poster exposition to highlight the completion of their summer internships. Media are invited to view the poster designs along with Marshall Center Deputy Director Teresa Vanhooser and talk with the interns and Marshall team members about their recent work experiences. Throughout the day, a panel of experts will interview the interns, as well as judge their posters on scientific accuracy and merit. The awards ceremony, which is also open to the media, will recognize the interns for their achievements, and the results of the poster competition will be announced.

To attend: News media interested in covering the event should contact the Marshall Public & Employee Communications Office at 256-544-0034 no later than 4 p.m., Monday, Aug. 4. Media must report to the Redstone Arsenal Joint Visitor Control Center at Gate 9, Interstate 565 interchange at Rideout Road/Research Park Boulevard. Vehicles are subject to a security search at the gate. News media will need two photo identifications and proof of car insurance.
