Integral Systems, Inc.
announced today that it had been awarded a contract by Boeing Satellite
Systems, in El Segundo, CA, to develop an I&T (Integration and Test) system
for a new Boeing spacecraft project.
Financial terms were not disclosed.

Based on Integral’s EPOCH 2000 telemetry and command product line, the
system will offer a flexible database-driven environment that will control
both the spacecraft models and the associated ground test equipment.
Under
the contract, Integral will deliver a turnkey system in the fall of 2001.
Development has been assigned to Integral’s Integration and Test Division.

Don Mack, Vice President of the I&T division, said, “This is another
example of how EPOCH can be used to increase efficiency on the spacecraft
production floor.”
Boeing is already an extensive user of the EPOCH product
line, this being the latest in a series of spacecraft that includes the NASA
GOES N-Q weather satellites and numerous communications satellites.
“Boeing
continues to be a forward-looking organization that recognizes the value of
our commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products in saving costs by improving the
test process,” said Mack.

Founded in 1982, Integral Systems is a leading provider of satellite
ground systems and has supported over 120 different satellite missions for
