WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), released a statement in support of President Trump’s announcement of his intent to nominate Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R, OK-01) to be NASA Administrator:
“I am pleased President Trump has announced his intent to name Jim Bridenstine as NASA Administrator today. As the former administrator of the Tulsa Air and Space Museum and Planetarium, Jim Bridenstine’s lifelong passion for space, combined with his work in Congress on modernizing our nation’s space program will serve him well at NASA. I look forward to working with my fellow Oklahoman in this new capacity.”
Congressman Bridenstine serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the Science, Space and Technology Committee. Bridenstine had a distinguished career as a pilot in the United States Navy and is currently a member of the 137th Special Operations Wing of the Oklahoma Air National Guard.
