Hundreds of middle and high school students from across the country will gather on Capitol Hill Friday, May 13, at 9:00 AM for the ‘Rockets on the Hill’ reception as part of the Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC) National Finals.

Students will hear from special guest speakers on the importance of STEM education and will have the opportunity to meet with their elected representatives after the reception. TARC is the world’s largest student rocket contest and a key piece of the aerospace and defense industry’s strategy to engage teens in science, technology, engineering and math. Finalists will compete Saturday, May 14 at a final fly-off held at Great Meadow in The Plains, V.A.
