House Committee on Science Chairman Sherwood L. Boehlert (R-NY) will join NASA Administrator Sean O’Keefe at a major address and
press briefing Friday, April 12, at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs on the campus of Syracuse University in New York.
Administrator O’Keefe will outline the future direction of the space agency, and both Boehlert and O’Keefe will be available for press questions
following the address.

The address is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. EDT at the Maxwell School’s main auditorium.

Following the Administrator’s remarks, the press briefing will be held in the Public Events Room located at 200 Eggers Hall from 3:30
p.m. to 4 p.m. Media representatives wishing to cover the address and press conference are asked to contact either Jill Leonhardt at Maxwell

Parking is limited. Reporters who cannot attend the press event will be able to participate by telephone.

Administrator O’Keefe’s remarks will be available live by satellite on Telstar 5, Ku Band, transponder 19. The satellite can be found at 97
degrees West Longitude with vertical polarization. The downlink frequency is 12053 MHz, with audio at 6.2 MHz and 6.8 MHz.
