Satellite ground system provider GMV of Spain is opening a subsidiary in Darmstadt, Germany, which is home to two GMV customers: the European Space Agency’s Operations Center (ESOC) and Europe’s Eumetsat meteorological satellite organization.
“The German subsidiary will not only enhance GMV’s relationships with ESOC and EUMETSAT, but also provide insight into other opportunities in the technology sectors where we specialize,” Theresa Beech, GMV’s general manager and vice president of business development, said in an April 20 statement announcing the expansion.
